BAHAWALPUR : The bodies of 8 Pakistanis who were killed in Iran have been brought to Bahawalpur.
The bodies of victims killed in a shooting incident in Iran were transported to Bahawalpur Airport via a private plane and have been handed over to their relatives.
Among the deceased are Danish, Dilshad, Jaffar, Nasir, Naim, Muhammad Khalid, and Muhammad Jamshed.
Five of the deceased were from the Khanqah Sharif area of Bahawalpur, two were from Ahmadpur East, and one was from Shujaabad.
The funeral prayers for the two victims from Ahmadpur East have already been conducted.
Iranian Foreign Minister expressed condolences regarding the killing of the eight Pakistanis.
Abbas Araqchi contacted Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar via telephone and assured that the perpetrators of the murders would be brought to justice.
It is noteworthy that eight Pakistani laborers were shot and killed in the city of Sistan, Iran.
