Islamabad: Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that a whopping number of pregnant ladies during deliveries lost their lives every year in the country and these deaths can be stopped.
Addressing a ceremony related to world health day at World Health Organization (WHO) headquarter in Pakistan, Health Minister said that if such a large number deaths occur with different reasons then our national reaction is different.
The Health Minister said that we can’t warrant losing one single innocent death. We need to improve health system immediately on individual and collective level.

Syed Mustafa Kamal apprised that as many as 38 percent of children are suffered with stinting who can’t able to play impressive role in the national development in the future.
Regarding his responsibility as a health minister, Kamal said that the health ministry is not a position but a tough trial for him.
He said that caution and seriousness are first priority in taking decisions impacting directly to human lives.
He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is determined for the improvement of the health system.
He added that the WHO cooperation is vital in revamping the country health system.
