Karachi: A reign of chilling cold is continued in the largest city of the country, Karachi.
Meteorological Department predicted that a last spell of cold will end till end of January.
Whereas owing to freezing winds the intensity of cold will multiply in the city.
The city temperature recorded at 10 to 12 degree centigrade.
The met department has predicted the temperature will turn single digit.
On the other hand, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 12 hours.
However, rain-windstorm with snow over hills is likely in North/Northwest Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree and Galliyat, Islamabad and Potohar region.
Moderate to dense fog (in patches) is likely to persist in most districts of Punjab and upper Sindh.

Islamabad 5 degree centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar 8, Karachi 12, Quetta and Murree 2, Gilgit 4and Muzafarabad 6 degree centigrade.
According to weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of rain and snow is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla while partly cloudy weather with chances of rain in Jammu.
