Peshawar (May 16, 2017): Three-day anti-polio drive continued on second day in all districts of KPK including FATA and over 5.6 million children are being administrated with anti-polio vaccines.
According to the Emergency Operation Center KPK, the anti-polio drive is also being administered to 74 Afghan refugees of the province and TDPs camps and over a million children will be administrated in FATA during second day.
More than 20 thousand polio workers teams have been devised, while over 4000 area in-charges have been deployed to monitor those teams effectively, whereas strict security arrangements have been made for the polio teams.
Meanwhile, anti-polio campaign second day continues in Multan, where over 0.8 million children were being administered anti polio vaccines. Multan Health Department has devised over 1700 teams and anti-polio stalls were installed at different hospitals, dispensaries, Railway stations and bus stands.
