Peshawar (October 06, 2017): The death toll due to dengue virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reached to 45 on Friday, during current year.
According to Dengue Response Unit (DRU), around 58,986 patients were brought to different hospitals of the province. Out of which 12,215 were diagnosed with dengue virus.Dengue Response Unit added that death toll from the mosquito-borne disease in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reached 45. It said the majority of people died of dengue belonged to Peshawar and most of them lost their lives in KTH.
Dengue virus has also spread to other towns and cities of the province as Buner reporting 30 people under treatment. Swabi reporting 12 and Mardan reporting 16 under treatment in different hospitals.
