Two days of talks between Afghanistan and the Taliban in Qatar ended without clear progress. No ceasefire was announced on Eid.
The parties have agreed to continue talks to reach a solution to the dispute. There will be more rounds of talks after Eid.
The talks were attended by Taliban supreme leader Hebatullah Akhunzada and Afghan Reconciliation Council chief Abdullah Abdullah.
