Web Desk(June 25, 2018): World-renowned classical singer Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan from Pakistan has been selected as an ambassador for peace in Washington.
Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan who is from Sham Chorasi gharana is currently on a visit to the US and he has been selected as an ambassador of peace.
Universal Peace Federation which works under the Washington Post Federation and the Common Grounds USA has arranged a ceremony on this count which will be held during American Leadership conference.
Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan in his message to his fans in Pakistan has said that he has displayed the country`s soft image and message of peace in the world through his music.
