Karachi: Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Jamil Ahmed on Tuesday said that every passing day will see improvement as effect of the International Monetary Fund(IMF) deal.
Addressing an inauguration ceremony of Rs 75 notes in Karachi, Governor SBP said that the economy of the country has seen challenges many times adding that at the moment we are concentrating on constant economic development.
Jameel Ahmed apprised that Pakistan banking laws are as per the international standard and harmony with the modern demands.
The SBP governor informed that the SBP is an independent and autonomous institution of the country and its supervising frame work is strong.
He said that as many as 16,000 branches of the SBP are working adding that owing to modern technology people can handle their accounts in comfort of their homes.
Jameel Ahmed said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah principles are a beacon for us.
