A death row prisoner was sent to gallows on Thursday (today) early morning in Central Jail Qasur and last meeting of the convicted with his family had taken place.
The convicted Tariq Akram had killed his father in law back in 2005. Local court has given him death sentence.
He was hanged at the gallows till his death following the court orders today.
The Jail administration after legal formalities has handed over the body to his family, while strict security measures were taken around the jail.
