Karachi: Fire erupted near an oil refinery in Korangi Crossing area of Karachi on Saturday (today) morning.
According to rescue 1122 as many as Karachi metropolitan Corporation (KMC)10 fire brigade vehicles and fire brigade trucks of Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) are conducting operation for dousing the fire.
The fire brigade officials apprised that the fire ignited in a gas pipeline.
Whereas foam is being used for extinguishing the fire owing to its high intensity.
The officials further added that the fire at the gas pipeline is of third degree.
On the other hand police informed that the gas pipeline harmed during digging of land for boring purpose.
