The former minister from Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab and has been elected as MNA.

Nazar Muhammad Gondal was also elected as the Nazim of Mandi Bahauddin District from 2001-2004.

Gondal is among the scores of PPP leaders and former minister who has recently joined PTI by deserting their party. A few days ago, former Federal Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan had joined PTI.

Earlier, former PPP MNA from Peshawar Noor Alam Khan had also deserted PPP to jump on the bandwagon of PTI.

The PPP’s poor standing and bleak future prospect in the next general elections especially in most populous province Punjab has compelled the PPP stalwarts to rethink their political future.

Sources said that in coming days more PPP leader would be joining other parties especially PTI from Punjab and other parts of the country.
