KARACHI: Gold prices fell sharply in Pakistan’s local market on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold declining by Rs3,500 per tola to settle at Rs483,036,
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also dropped by Rs3,001 to Rs414,125.
Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold became cheaper by Rs2,751, reaching Rs379,628.
In the international market, gold lost $35 to trade at $4,605 per ounce, the association said.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. The per-tola price rose by Rs50 to Rs7,329, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs43 to Rs6,283.
