Karachi: The price of gold in Pakistan decreased by a slight Rs 800 on Monday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs800, settling at Rs277,000, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs687, taking it to Rs237,482.
In the international market also, the price of gold saw a drop of $8 on Monday, reaching $2,658 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
