KARACHI: A special anti-terrorism court in Karachi has indicted 32 workers, including PTI’s Haleem Adil Sheikh, Khurram Sher Zaman, and Raja Azhar, in the third case related to the May 9th incident. As the accused denied the charges, the court has summoned witnesses.
The special court at the Anti-Terrorism Complex in Karachi Central Jail heard the third case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders regarding the May 9th incident.
The court indicted Haleem Adil Sheikh, Khurram Sher Zaman, Raja Azhar, and 32 other workers. As the accused denied the charges, the court summoned witnesses for the next hearing.
The May 09 incident case was registered by Ferozabad police. The accused include Haleem Adil Sheikh, Khurram Sher Zaman, Raja Azhar, Fahim Khan, Alamgir Khan, and others.
According to the prosecution, the accused damaged government and private property, raised slogans against the state, and incited people against the state.
