New Delhi: Former Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid has sought a political asylum from the United Kingdom (UK).
Sheikh Hasian Wajid, who has been fled to India after tendering resignation from her post on the army orders, will remain reside in India until permition is granted from the UK.
Indian government has also apprised the Bangladesh premier that she can live in the country on an interim basis.
Indian government will also provide her transportation in her travel to the UK.
She has compelled to leave her post after a three-week of bloody protest all across the country claiming 300 lives owing to skirmishes between police and students organizations.
