IMF Executive Board doesn’t include Pakistan in its schedule till September 18

Washington: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Board schedule till September 18 which not included Pakistan once again.

The world financial body in the Executive Boards schedule till September 18 includes cases of Bhutan and Norway.

The IMF has to give approval to Pakistan a bail out package of whopping sum of 7 billion dollars .

The IMF and Pakistan had reached a staff level agreement in July this years.

However the government economic team has hopeful that the approval of Pakistan new loan will be given in September.

Sources said that Pakistan has difficulty in fullfiling external financing gap . After completion of prior conditions it is likely that Pakistan case will be included in the calender.

Sources said that Pakistan has faced a gap of three to five billion dollars in the external financing for completion o fit Pakistan has requested a commercial loan of 1.75 billion dollars to Saudi Arabia.

The federal government is hopeful to complete all the conditions of the IMF while Minister of Finance time and again has said that the IMF will approve new loan program this month.
