WEB DESK: Today, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Board will hold a meeting to review Pakistan’s funding.
During this review, the next installment of Pakistan’s loan program under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) will be approved.
Earlier, an IMF spokesperson expressed concern over the India-Pakistan tensions.
The IMF spokesperson stated that there is hope for a peaceful resolution and reduction in tensions between India and Pakistan.
He further mentioned that the IMF supports Pakistan’s economic program through the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
