TEHRAN: Iran’s military has issued a fresh warning to the United States and Israel, stating that any act of aggression against the Islamic Republic would trigger an immediate and forceful response targeting pre-designated locations.
The statement was released by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the body responsible for coordinating operations between Iran’s Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari said the country’s armed forces have remained on high alert and are fully prepared to respond. He emphasized that in the event of an attack, Iran would act without delay and deliver a stronger response than in previous confrontations.
He added that the warning comes amid what Tehran describes as repeated threats from US leadership and military officials.
Tensions have remained elevated following recent hostilities involving the US and Israel.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump had announced a temporary pause in military actions, while diplomatic efforts in Islamabad failed to produce a breakthrough due to ongoing disagreements between the two sides.
Iran has since maintained that it will not return to negotiations unless Washington lifts restrictions imposed on its shipping and port activities.
