WEB DESK: India’s former secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla has claimed that Jamat-e-Islami played vital role in bringing down the government of Haseena Wajid in Bangladesh.
Talking to the Indian news channel, former foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan, who has also been post as India’s high commissioner in Bangladesh, said that the Bangladeshi people, especially the youth are expressing their frustration on the streets against Haseena wajid ‘s government.
The former Indian foreign secretary said that while the bad economic situation has played an important role in the current situation of Bangladesh, the opposition parties BNP and Jamat-e-Islami have also contributed.
