The opposition leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah criticizing Water and Power Development Authority (wapda) Chairman said that the issue of Kalabagh Dam is more vital issue than Chairman wapda mandate therefore he should understand the sensitivity of the issued.
Giving his reaction over the letters sent by the Chairman wapda he said that chairman wapda was a state employee and he should not be issued the discriminatory statements as all three provincial assemblies had passed the resolution against the Kalababh Dam.
“Government should have to pay attention of the construction of Bhasah Dam and other small dams but the issue of Kalabagh dam being raised to divert the people’s attention from load shedding,” he added that Chairman wapda statements were against the federation and its units, therefore he should not speak on technicalities of the issue.
