LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for elevating Pakistan’s stature.
Nawaz Sharif stated, “I extend my praise and congratulations to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Sidhu, and the armed forces of Pakistan.”
The former Prime Minister added that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation that prioritizes peace but also knows how to defend itself when necessary.
It is noteworthy that both India and Pakistan have agreed to a ceasefire. In a statement released via his social media account, U.S. President Donald Trump said that under American mediation, India and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire.
Congratulating both countries, Trump stated that Pakistan and India have shown wisdom and restraint.
