ISLAMABAD: Following Pakistan’s recent victory over India, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is expected to resume, reigniting the passion of cricket fans across the nation.
According to sources, the PSL management has begun making arrangements for the continuation of the tournament’s 10th edition. Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer has reportedly instructed all franchise owners to remain on standby. Foreign players have also been advised to stay at their current locations until further notice.
“The arrangements are being made. I will provide complete details shortly, PSL will go ahead,” Salman Naseer confirmed.
The PSL was suspended yesterday due to ongoing regional tensions, affecting all participating foreign players and staff. Many of them had been evacuated to Dubai on aircraft provided by the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Now, with the situation stabilizing and morale high after Pakistan’s triumph over India, efforts are in full swing to bring the league back and resume play at the earliest opportunity.
