According to Pakistani security and government sources, China has proposed sending its own forces to safeguard Chinese personnel in Pakistan, and the proposal has already communicated to the Pakistani government.
However, Pakistan did not accept the suggestion. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, in response, stated that he was not aware of the specifics of the proposal but emphasized that China remains committed to supporting Pakistan in all areas.
Sources also noted that Pakistan’s Interior Ministry and Ministry of Planning refrained from commenting on the issue, neither confirming nor denying the details of the report.
