ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has successfully tested the Fatah missile, which has a range of 120 kilometers.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, the missile is capable of striking targets up to 120 kilometers away from the ground.
The missile was tested during the Indus exercises. The purpose of the test was to assess military readiness and technical capabilities. Test verified important technical parameters of the missile, including its advanced navigation system and improved accuracy.
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir congratulated the troops, scientists, and engineers involved in the exercise.
The training launch was observed by senior officers of the Pakistan Army, as well as officers, scientists, and engineers from Pakistan’s strategic organizations.
This missile from the Fatah series is part of the surface-to-surface missile series. The launch was aimed at ensuring the operational readiness of the troops.
On this occasion, ISPR stated that full confidence was expressed in the operational readiness and technical expertise of the Pakistan Army to thwart any aggression against Pakistan’s territorial integrity. The Pakistan Army is capable of giving a befitting response to any aggression by the enemy.
