Due to the loss of precious lives in accidents involving heavy traffic in Karachi, strict enforcement of traffic laws has begun.
Section 144 has been imposed on the entry of heavy traffic into the city during the daytime, including strict checks on driving licenses and vehicle fitness certificates. This year, over 300 people have lost their lives after being hit by speeding trucks, dumpers, trailers, and water tankers in Karachi.
During traffic accidents so far, over 4,500 citizens have been injured. Citizens are demanding strict administrative measures to prevent traffic accidents.
