Islamabad: The practice and procedure committee on Tuesday included Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan in the committee for the formation of a larger bench for hearing the review case of Article 63 A.
The Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice (CJ) has suggested the name of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah but after Justice Mansoor Ali Shah didn’t come to attend the meeting at the morning, Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan has been added in the bench.
The committee made Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan part of the larger bench.Now the bench comprises Justice Jamal Mandokhail, Justice Mazhar Alam Miakhail, Justice Amin Uddin Khan and Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
A larger bench will hear the case of article 63 A.
Before this the committee in its meeting waited for Justice Mansoor Ali Shah but neither he attended the meeting nor he sent any message.
The practice and procedure committee meeting ended
Now the committee meeting will be held at 11;30 am.
