ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly denounced the recent attack near Mastung, which resulted in the martyrdom of Session Judge Abdul Hakim Kakar and his gunman. In separate statements, both leaders expressed their profound sorrow and grief over the loss.
They extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed for the swift recovery of Judicial Magistrate Tariq Lashari and others wounded in the assault. The President emphasized that the sacrifices made by the martyrs will not be in vain and reiterated that Pakistan will persist in its fight against terrorism until it is entirely rooted out.
The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s firm resolve to eradicate terrorism in all its manifestations and assured the nation of ongoing efforts to ensure peace and security across the country.
