LAHORE: Punjab Education Minister has announced closure of schools in thirteen districts of the province from Eid to first to eighth grade.
According to details, Punjab Education Minister Dr Murad Rass said in a tweet that schools for first to eighth grade students in 13 districts of the province would remain closed till Eid-ul-Fitr in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur.
Schools in Sialkot, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Totba Tek Singh, Rahim Yar Khan will remain closed till Eid-ul-Fitr.

All Public & Private schools Classes 1-8 to remain closed until Eid in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Multan, Bhawalpur, Sialkot, Sargoda, Faisalabad, TT Singh, RYK, DG Khan and Sheikupura. Decision to be reviewed in 2 weeks.
The provincial education minister said that the ninth to twelfth, and Cambridge examinations would be held as usual, adding that from April 19, all the ninth to twelfth class schools in the affected 13 districts of Punjab would be opened on Mondays and Thursdays.

All Examinations for Classes 9 through 12 and O/A Levels will be conducted as per schedule in Punjab.
