QUETTA: Security forces conducted intelligence-based operations in various regions of Balochistan, resulting in the killing of 17 terrorists affiliated with Tahrik al-Hind.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), these operations were carried out in the districts of Quetta, Nushki, Zhob, Kharan, and Kech following the May 24 train incident. The elimination of these terrorists has significantly damaged their network in the area.
ISPR reported that weapons, a large quantity of explosives, and IEDs were recovered from the terrorists’ possession. The terrorists were involved in multiple attacks in the region. Clearance operations in these areas are ongoing.
ISPR emphasized that the nationwide counter-terrorism campaign will continue vigorously, and efforts will be made to completely eradicate the threat of foreign-supported terrorism from the country.
