SHC refused to hear the petition against the 26th constitutional amendment

Karachi: Sindh High Court refused to hear the petition of former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi against the 26th constitutional amendment.

Justice Junaid Ghaffar of the Sindh High Court heard the petition of former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi against the 26th Constitutional Amendment.

During the hearing, Justice Junaid Ghaffar remarked that we had said that if there is an urgent matter, we will hear it, otherwise we will impose a fine.

Advocate Mueez Jafari told the court that the relevant bench is not available, on which the court remarked that you can appear before the relevant bench on Monday.

Later, court adjourned the hearing on the petition against the 26th Constitutional Amendment for an indefinite period.

It should be remembered that yesterday, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had challenged the 26th constitutional amendment in the Sindh High Court.
