ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Sherry Rahman has decided to raise government’s hike in the petroleum prices in the Senate.
Senior PPP Senator and leader Sherry Rahman on Tuesday submitted adjournment motion in the Senate over the increase in the petroleum prices which said that the hike in petroleum prices increased the burden on the people of the country.
She declared a hike in the petroleum prices and other commodity prices before the advent of Ramzan concerning.
The adjournment motion demanded that the rise in the petroleum prices be discussed while postponing the agenda of the Senate.
