WEB DESK: Pakistani and Indian cricketers faced off against each other, exchanging jibes and taunts.
After the Pahalgam attack, where a war of words has erupted among political figures and celebrities, cricketers are also joining the fray.
Renowned Pakistani cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi has responded sharply to India’s allegations regarding the Pahalgam attack.
In an interview with a private channel, he stated, “In India, if a firecracker goes off, Pakistan is blamed for it.”
Addressing India, he further said, “You have 800,000 troops stationed in Kashmir, and yet such incidents occur. It means you are incompetent and unable to provide security to your own people.”
Referring to the cases of Kulbhushan Jadhav and Abhinandan Varthaman, Afridi said, “We have provided you evidence; we even returned one after serving him tea, and we still have evidence of another. You should also present your proof and stop blaming Pakistan without reason.”
