Washington: The United States has said that it stands with Pakistan in the war against terrorism, and there should be peace on protests around the world, including Pakistan.
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a press briefing that the government of Pakistan should deal with the protesters with respect, discussing the plot to kill the Sikh leader with the Indian counterpart.
The spokesperson of the US Department of State refused to answer the question regarding the threats to the members of the nominated cabinet of Donald Trump, saying that the US wants to end the civil war in Syria through a political process.
Matthew Miller further said that Iran is supporting the Syrian president through fighters from Iraq, the US and France are monitoring the Lebanon ceasefire.
