TEHRAN: In a tragic incident two judges were killed outside the Supreme Court building in Tehran.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, two judges of the Supreme Court were targeted in the firing incident. The statement apprised that out of the three judges, two were martyred and one was injured.
The report further stated that after firing at the judges outside the Supreme Court, the attacker also killed himself. Iranian media has reported that the Supreme Court’s security guard was also injured. The reason for the judges’ killings has not yet been clarified. The judiciary has identified the deceased judges as Ayatollah Muhammad Moghisi and Ali Razani.
