KARACHI:  Hamza, the primary suspect in the tragic case of six-year-old Wali’s assault and killing, has confessed to his involvement during a court hearing before a judicial magistrate.

The gruesome incident occurred in Lea Market, where Wali was sexually assaulted and murdered. His body was later discarded from the third floor of a residential building. Neighbors noted that Hamza, who has no official employment, often spent money on local children by purchasing cold drinks and snacks. Remarkably, despite being unemployed, he was found to own high-end iPhones.

Locals questioned the source of Hamza’s income, pointing out that his father works as a carpenter. They called on authorities to secure his physical custody, investigate his financial records, online activity, and digital devices to uncover any illicit connections.

During the hearing, Hamza and other involved suspects appeared before the court to record their statements under Section 164. Hamza admitted to the sexual assault and murder of Wali in front of the magistrate. Following this, the accused were remanded to jail for further investigation.

In a developing aspect of the case, police are exploring whether Hamza’s mobile phones contain evidence related to dark web activities. Forensic experts are analyzing the devices, reportedly recovering videos depicting violence and torture. Authorities are also examining whether the suspect had any links to the dark web, although no official confirmation has been provided yet.
