ISLAMABAD: In the 190 million pound case, the Islamabad High Court has returned the bail application of convicted PTI founder Imran Khan with objections.
The Registrar’s Office of Islamabad High Court has cleared the objections and directed that the application be refiled. It was noted that the bail request was not filed by the affected individual himself.
The Registrar’s Office raised an objection that how can such relief be sought for another person? The person whose bail is being requested was not made a party to the application.
Another objection was that in the NAB case, where the accused has been convicted, NAB was not made a party to the bail application, and the full addresses of the parties listed in the application were not provided.
Ali Amin Gandapur, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, had filed the bail request on behalf of Imran Khan through lawyer Latif Khosa.
