OSLO: A passenger plane from the Netherlands met with an accident at Norway’s Oslo Airport.
According to Dutch media, the plane, which was in route to Amsterdam, experienced a hydraulic system failure shortly after takeoff from Oslo.
Due to the hydraulic system malfunction, the aircraft had to make an emergency landing. However, during the landing, the plane skidded off the runway.
Dutch media reported that all 176 passengers and six crew members on board the plane remained safe.
Earlier, an Air Canada passenger plane caught fire due to a landing gear malfunction, but the aircraft miraculously avoided a disaster.
In another incident this morning, a plane in South Korea crashed during landing, resulting in the tragic death of 179 people.
Prior to this, on December 25, an Azerbaijani cargo plane crashed in Kazakhstan, killing 38 people and injuring 29 others.
