Israeli forces martyr 200 people as military siege of northern Gaza enters ninth day

Occupies Al-Quds: At least 200 people have been killed by Israeli forces as the military siege of northern Gaza enters a ninth day.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians trapped by the ground invasion and drone strikes and food and water supplies dwindle.

Major destruction as Israel bombed the main commercial market in Nabatieh city, in southern Lebanon, with rescue crews battling a huge blaze and searching for any survivors.

Israel’s air force also expanded its bombardment of Lebanon and targets civilian areas outside traditional Hezbollah bastions, including a 100-year-old mosque in a border village.

Wounded Israeli soldiers are being airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in the country’s north after engaging in battles with Hezbollah as its ground offensive rolls on.

People in Jabalia killed with ‘unspeakable cruelty and sadism’

Israeli forces are committing “another massacre” in northern Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp, the UN special rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territories says.

Francesca Albanese said Palestinian civilians in Jabalia “are killed – both in groups and one by one – amid unspeakable cruelty and sadism” by Israeli troops “who have accepted to be ‘willing executioners’ of a genocidal plan”.

The Israeli attacks are being conducted with Western support and weapons, Albanese noted.

“It blows my mind to think that WE KNOW what Israel is doing and altogether we cannot stop it. Looking at where we were 100 years ago, no much progress has been achieved,” she said in a post on X.

The Israeli army has been carrying out a large-scale military incursion for nine days in northern Gaza, where the Jabalia camp is located.

In Gaza, at least 42,175 people have been killed and 98,336 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 2023. In Israel, at least 1,139 people were killed on October 7, 2023, and more than 200 people taken captive.
