Karachi: Pakistan cricket team have departed for Dubai for playing high octane match against arch rival India on February 23.
Pakistan have faced with set back as Fakhar Zaman is not traveling with team touring Dubai as he has ruled out for the entire tournament owing to his nib injury during fielding in the match against New Zealand.
It is pertinent to mention here another opener Saeem Ayub has already out from the team due to his ankle injury in test match against South Africa.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Fakhar Zaman has an injury of serious nature. His rib has pulled while he has been instructed to report the PCB academy.
The PCB has contacted to the International Cricket Council (ICC) to allow bringing change in Fakhar Zaman place.
The team management has also started considering names for openers replacing Fakhar Zaman.
It is likely that Imam Ul Haq will be included in the team.
