Pakistan’s response was so forceful, India promptly called for a ceasefire: PM

ISLAMBAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who was chief guest at the ceremony, paid rich tributes to the chairman joint chiefs of staff committee and heads of the armed forces of Pakistan for defending the national frontiers.

Speaking on the occasion, he said he would salute the parents of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Pakistan. He said that Pakistan offered the enemy to hold an independent inquiry into the so-called terror Pahalgam terrorist attack, but the enemy attacked Pakistan instead. He said the enemy targeted innocent civilians, including women and children. He said the Pakistan Air Force downed six Indian fighter jets while defending its airspace and gave the world the message that we are ready for our defence.

He said that PAF downed India’s MIG, Rafale and drones. He said it was decided after consultations on May 9 and 10 that Pakistan would respond to the enemy attack. He said that Army Chief Asim Munir asked for his permission to respond to the enemy. He said that Pakistan fired Fatah missiles into India. He quoted the army chief as saying that Pakistan has slapped the enemy so hard that it is now requesting ceasefire. He said that he asked the army chief to accept India’s ceasefire request.

He said that Pakistan hit targets at places like Pathankot and Udhampur. He said the PAF used such an advanced technology that the entire world was shocked. He said that Pakistan’s friendly countries are proud of Pakistan and the entire world is talking about the advanced technology Pakistan has achieved. He said the entire world from America to Japan and from Middle East to Europe is talking about the capabilities of the armed forces of Pakistan
