GAZA: In the Khan Younis area of Gaza, four Israeli soldiers were killed and five injured in an attack by Palestinian resistance fighters.
According to Israeli media, the Israeli soldiers had entered a building to detect explosive materials and tunnels, where resistance fighters had previously planted explosives. Israeli media reported that the explosion caused the explosive devices to detonate, resulting in the building collapsing onto the soldiers, leading to casualties.
The Israeli military has also identified two of the four soldiers who were killed; they belonged to the Maglan Commandos and Yahalom Engineering units.
Israeli media further stated that among the five injured soldiers, one is in critical condition.
