‘New York: Pakistan has described the situation in Gaza as a stain on collective conscience of the humanity.
Delivering statement during the resumed Tenth Emergency Special Session of the General Assembly on situation in Palestine, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad said the stakes could not be higher, and urged the international community to not look away.
He reiterated demand for an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, urging full implementation of Resolution 2735. He called for the complete lifting of Gaza blockade to allow unrestricted humanitarian aid.
