KARACHI: In Karachi’s Defense, a mother has reportedly killed her young son and daughter with a sharp knife.
According to police, the accused woman is suffering from mental health issues. She had separated from her husband some time ago, and the children were staying with their father and had come to visit their mother on their day off.
The tragic incident occurred at a bungalow in Khayaban-e-Mujahid, Defense. Police stated that the woman named Adeeba attacked her eight-year-old son Zarar and four-year-old daughter Samiya in the bathroom with a sharp weapon, resulting in their deaths.
After committing the murders, she reportedly called her former husband to inform him of the incident. The husband immediately contacted the police, who arrived at the scene, detained the woman, and recovered the murder weapon.
