Lahore: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has said that he is an eyewitness of important incidents during four-day war against India, which were also included videos of six destroyed planes down by Pakistan Air Force.
Addressing a seminar in Lahore, Mohsin Naqvi said that the role of intelligence agencies in the war days were decisive and during the war Pakistan armed forces responded befittingly to the Indian aggression.
We saw falling of the Indian planes but decided that until we would not get evidences in our hands we will not announce, he said.
He apprised that Pakistan had advance knowledge of all Indian planning. In one of an incident, India fired seven missiles on an air base of ours but not a single fell inside.
The base which didn’t carry precious assets targeted in the Indian attack, he added.
No major harm inflicted on our side despite the attack on Noor Khan air base, the Interior Minister said.
He apprised that our soldiers were martyred on a single air base despite that our forces achieved all the targets against the India adding we never targeted civilian population during the war.
