LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled a special pink-themed kit for the opening T20 match against South Africa.
As part of a breast cancer awareness campaign, the national players will don the pink kit during the match, while umpires, staff, and commentators will show their support by wearing pink ribbons. In addition, the match stumps will feature pink branding, and awareness messages will be prominently displayed in the venue.
PCB CEO Sumair Ahmed expressed pride in leveraging cricket’s widespread appeal for such an important cause, emphasizing that timely diagnosis can save numerous lives.
The national team will play its first T20 match on October 28 in Rawalpindi against South Africa. The second and third T20 matches are scheduled for October 31 and November 1 in Lahore.
Following the T20 series, a three-match ODI series is set to take place in Faisalabad from November 4 to 8.
