LAHORE: Former leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) met with Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi at Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI) Lahore on Friday to inquire about his health.
According to sources, those who called on the senior politician included Fawad Chaudhry, Imran Ismail, and Mahmood Molvi, all of whom are part of the PTI’s former leadership.
During the meeting, the visiting leaders expressed their good wishes for Qureshi’s swift recovery and discussed his current health condition.
The former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is currently under treatment at the PKLI as he has been diagnosed with gallstones, and doctors have recommended gallbladder surgery to address the condition.
Sources further revealed that Shah Mahmood Qureshi was admitted to PKLI on October 28 and has been receiving medical care since then.
Doctors are monitoring his condition closely and are expected to proceed with surgery soon, depending on his medical assessment.
