KARACHI: Gold prices experienced a notable increase on Monday in both domestic and international markets.
As per the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, gold prices in the local market climbed by Rs1,300 per tola, reaching a new rate of Rs423,862.
Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,115, now standing at Rs363,393. In the global market, gold saw an uptick as well, with a $13 per ounce increase, pushing the price to $4,015 per ounce.
This rise comes just two days after local gold prices dropped by Rs1,600 per tola to settle at Rs422,562.
Meanwhile, silver prices also followed an upward trend, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs25, bringing it to Rs5,152.
