ISLAMABAD: According to sources, the 27th amendment is anticipated to be formally presented in the Senate on November 7. Discussions regarding the amendment are also planned to take place in both houses of Parliament the Senate and the National Assembly.
Following these deliberations, it is expected that the amendment will be put to a vote for approval around November 10, sources indicated. It was also noted that the upcoming Senate session will continue even on the holiday.
The sources further revealed that debates on the proposed 27th amendment are scheduled to occur on Friday and Saturday. After the discussions and presentation in both houses, the constitutional amendment will be forwarded to the relevant committee for review.
Additionally, the Senate session is expected to run until November 14, the sources added.
