ISLAMABAD: Security forces conducted two separate operations, resulting in the elimination of 20 militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ISPR reported that during an intelligence-based operation in the Shawal area of North Waziristan, eight terrorists associated with the Indian-backed proxy group “fitna al khawarij” were neutralized.
In a second operation in Darra Adamkhel, 12 more militants were targeted. Clearance and sanitization efforts are ongoing in the area to prevent any potential future terrorist activities.
Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to eradicating terrorism under the “Resolute Stabilization” initiative. These operations focus on dismantling both local and international terrorist networks to ensure the safety of civilians.
The ISPR emphasized that through continuous surveillance and advanced intelligence measures, security forces are actively working to dismantle terrorist networks while taking all possible steps to safeguard the local population.
