KARACHI: After a two-day pause, gold prices experienced a decline in both international and domestic markets today.
In the global bullion market, the price of gold decreased by $10 per ounce, settling at $4,124.
Reflecting the international trend, Pakistan’s local gold markets also registered a drop on Wednesday. The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 1,000 per tola, closing at Rs. 434,762.
Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold declined by Rs. 857, reaching Rs. 372,738.
Silver prices followed a similar downward trajectory. The cost of one tola of silver decreased by Rs. 81 to Rs. 5,434, while the price for 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs. 69, amounting to Rs. 4,658.
